STEP 01
Check enrolment and GPA.
You must be an enrolled undergraduate or graduate degree student at an accredited U.S. institution with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0/4.0.

STEP 02
Gather the basic details.
Have your institution, latest completed semester and recorded cumulative GPA ready. You do not need to write an essay or obtain a recommendation.

STEP 03
Apply, then verify.
Submit once using the linked form and keep your reference. Complete private enrolment and GPA verification before the random draw.

Who can apply?
Undergraduate or graduate students currently enrolled in a degree programme at an accredited U.S. college or university, with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale through the latest completed semester. All fields of study, full-time and part-time enrolment, and eligible online and international students are welcome.

The academic threshold is a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, recorded through your most recently completed semester when you apply. It is not the GPA earned in that semester alone. For example, a 3.2 semester GPA with a 2.9 cumulative GPA does not meet this requirement. Do not round a lower GPA up to 3.0.

If your institution uses another grading scale, ask the administrator about an institution-issued equivalent before applying; do not invent your own conversion. An applicant without a completed semester and a recorded cumulative GPA cannot yet demonstrate this requirement.

The institution must hold institutional accreditation from an agency recognised by the U.S. Department of Education. Check the Department’s accredited-institution database. Associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programmes are included. A completed degree alone does not qualify someone who is no longer enrolled.

If a selected student is under 18, a parent or guardian must provide consent before award acceptance. Programme administrators, selection staff and their immediate family members are not eligible. There is no application fee, purchase, donation, social follow or public endorsement requirement.

No essay, personal statement or recommendation letter.
The initial application asks for your full name, email, accredited institution, study level, latest completed semester and cumulative GPA. You will confirm current enrolment, the accuracy of your details and agreement to the rules and privacy notice. Field of study is optional.

There is no essay prompt, word count, essay PDF or writing score in the 2026 round. The learning tools and historical essay material on this website are optional resources; using them does not affect your chances.
Before the draw, applicants must complete the private verification process for current enrolment and cumulative GPA. Only entries whose eligibility has been verified will enter the draw. The administrator will give the document requirements and secure route; do not place transcripts or student IDs in public comments or general enquiries.
