The Sue Gilad & Larry Rogowsky Theatre Scholarship

Founded by Tony Award-winning Broadway producers Sue Gilad and Larry Rogowsky, this scholarship honors the transformative power of theatre and supports students pursuing their dreams on and off the stage.

About the Scholarship
Empowering Theatre’s Future
The Sue Gilad & Larry Rogowsky Theatre Scholarship was created to nurture and support students who have chosen to dedicate their academic journey to the dramatic arts. Whether you’re studying acting, directing, stage design, playwriting, musical theatre, or any other theatre-related discipline, this scholarship is for you.

Sue Gilad and Larry Rogowsky understand that pursuing a career in theatre requires not just talent, but courage, dedication, and unwavering passion. Through this scholarship, they aim to ease the financial burden on aspiring theatre professionals and send a clear message: your dreams matter, and the theatre community believes in you.

This is not an essay-based scholarship. We don’t require a minimum GPA. What we seek are students who have made the bold choice to pursue theatre — students who understand that the stage is not just a career, but a calling.
