Scholarship Description:
The NGA Foundation is committed to positioning the independent grocery industry as an employer of choice and supporting students planning careers in this field. Since 1990, NGA and its affiliates have awarded over $1 million in scholarships to help develop the next generation of grocery industry leaders. Scholarships are available to students pursuing relevant majors with experience in the grocery industry highly valued.

Scholarship amount varies
Available to rising college freshmen through graduate students
Applicable to students attending a U.S. college or university
Scholarship funds will be disbursed for the Fall Semester
Over $1 million in scholarships awarded since 1990
Eligibility Criteria
Rising college freshman through graduate student
Must be attending a U.S. college or university
Minimum GPA of 2.5
Majoring in Business, Food Management, Accounting, Human Resources, IT, or other fields leading to a career in the grocery industry
Experience in the grocery industry is highly valued
Application Process

Provide academic transcripts showing GPA
Submit proof of enrollment at a U.S. college or university
