Spencer Educational Foundation Scholarships

Scholarship Description
Since 1980, Spencer has invested over $11.1 million in the Scholarship program, with awards to over 1,700 students. More than 85% of Spencer Scholarship recipients remain in the industry to this day.

Scholarship Details:
Undergraduate, Graduate, Ph.D., and Pre-Instructor of Practice scholarships available
Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited U.S. or Canadian college or university
Undergraduate awards include $7,500 standard scholarships, limited $5,000 scholarships for top freshmen/sophomores, and $10,000 awards for highest-ranked applicants
Graduate scholarships available for part-time Risk Management and Insurance professionals continuing education
Recipients must be physically studying in the U.S. or Canada (remote coursework from other locations is not eligible)

Eligibility Criteria:
Must seek a career in Risk Management, Insurance, and/or Actuarial Science
Must be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university in the U.S. or Canada for at least one full academic year (two semesters)
Must be physically studying in the U.S. or Canada (no remote coursework eligibility from other countries)
Preferred but not required: major or minor in Risk Management, Insurance, or related fields such as business, finance, actuarial science, or information technology
Preferred but not required: relevant work or internship experience and demonstrated leadership ability

Spencer awards Undergraduate, Graduate, Ph.D., and Pre-Instructor of Practice scholarships to students enrolled at an accredited college or university in the United States and Canada and physically studying in either location (no remote coursework eligibility from other locations), including part-time Graduate scholarships to Risk Management & Insurance professionals continuing their education.
